THE TEAM

Craft Haus is run by a husband & wife team and was the brainchild of Jess circa 2022. It was originally intended as a multi-vendor space for alternative crafters. Over time, the idea bloomed into what it is today. The sigils are created by Jess and are her own personal chaos magick signatures, serving as protection of the shoppe and its inhabitants and are rooted in creation. The design was horribly done and so the final seals are reproduced for digital by friend & graphic designer Hannah Tedd.

Lee is an internationally renowned sports photographer & creative director who has journeyed alongside Jess’s spiritual whims for the last 17 years. With every business Jess has owned, Lee has been the backbone & now he is ready to step to the forefront and create an immersive retail experience like never before! Lee brings years of commercial, retail & creative industries experience with him to ensure Craft Haus is a destination every occultist wants to be part of.

Meet Jess

CO-FOUNDER | OWNER OF VILLAIN

Jess is a hybrid of c-suite operations leadership for multiple start-up tech companies and a holistic therapist at her boutique studio VILLAIN. She is a triple clair psychic, occultist and practicing chaos magician to boot. Jess is also one of the founding members of the Derby Occultist Society, est. 2007 and her 8th Great-Grand Aunts, (Rebecca Nurse & Sarah Cloyce) were executed in 1692, in the Salem Massachusetts Witch Trials. Her passion for studying the occult and almost two decades of experience in social media & marketing means she is dedicated to the existence and expansion of Craft Haus and knows how to make it special in its own right.

Downloaded from source during a meditation, the mantra INVITIS MATAS kills resistance and releases unwilling patterns blocking abundance. It was the beginnings of the creation of a visual representation - as Jess mainly focuses on wealth, prosperity & abundance magicks. Woven into design are familiar elements such as The Monad, Chaos Star, Hexagram Geometry, Daisy Wheel & Outer Circle, which all have their own purposes. Combined, they create a complex magical seal representing consciousness, power, protection, and the ability to shape reality.

This distilled glyph is from the centre point of the master signature and is inspired by The Monad. Symbolically the message is: consciousness flowing into intuition, grounding itself into reality. Made up of key elements:

The Derby Occultist Society

The Society started with humble beginnings in 2007 by 3 friends, eventually becoming 7. The society met semi-often for spell crafting, divination, book and movie clubs all in the commitment to eachothers development and aquisition of occult knowledge. By 2010 the society dispanded and lay dormant for several years.

Now they have a permanent residence at Craft Haus, the society has re-opened its doors to anyone who is committed to their lifelong journey into the expotential world of the occult and the arts. There will soon be an opportunity to join an annual membership and benefit from the society and all of its offerings.

Members will receive free monthly coffees, discounts on retail and workshops, have voters rights and help bring the world of the unseen from online to the 3D.
