Ground Floor Shop Access

Access to the ground floor of our bookshop is available to wheelchair users. You will need to utilise the ramp access point from The Strand into The Strand Arcade first, we are the final shop at the end of the Arcade. On arrival, please buzz the doorbell and someone will be with you as soon as possible to enable double door access.

The ground floor contains our bookshop, ritual goods & coffee haus. We can (workshop permitted) enable access to some talks, workshops & tarot readings on this level. This does depend on availability and type of event. Please contact our team ahead of time to ensure that this can be arranged before your arrival: hello@crafthausderby.com

Sadler Gate Access

There is no wheelchair accessibility from Sadler Gate due to the steps both into the shop front and to The Strand Arcade from this side. 

Derby Occultist Society Chamber

The D.O.S Chamber is based on the 2nd floor of the building. There are two flights of stairs to access the room and there is no available lift due to being grade II listed. We will be unable to add any additional accessibility measures for the foreseeable. 

Most workshops, events & talks are intended to run from this space, however in some circumstances we may be able to accomodate a small group on the ground floor. If this is a requirement, please notify us ahead of booking a ticket so we can assess suitability.
